Look what I found hiding away in drafts! This mini clip is getting on for 3 years old! It was filmed in the early days of me starting out in my new pottery studio. On reflection I have come a long way since this time and have discovered lots of different forms to make, methods to achieve them and techniques to decorate them and I've enjoyed every minute.

So I have a lovely studio fully insulated ( for the Scottish weather and winters!) and electricity and water. I also have clay but as yet, no kiln or wheel to start practicing my throwing. However, this won't hinder me creating! My first object to be created in my new space is a house. Maybe because we have just gone through a long protracted move to Scotland that prompted this - but actually I think I just have a thing for houses! While I was waiting for the studio to be bui
